The popular collectible card game Pokémon TCG Pocket, developed by Creatures and DeNA, could receive a new expansion called Triumphant Light, centered on the legendary Arceus.

According to leaks on social media, the official announcement could be made this week, coinciding with the Pokémon Presents event.

Pokémon Presents: an event with major news

The Pokémon Presents will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM (Spanish time), as part of the traditional Pokémon Day. Major news is expected, including information about Pokémon Legends Z-A and the possible announcement of an MMO in the series.

Among the protagonists will also be Pokémon TCG Pocket, the free game for iOS and Android. Although it will not yet have a competitive mode, the arrival of a new expansion could revitalize player interest.

Triumphant Light: the leaked new expansion

The Centro LEAKS account reported a deleted post from Pokémon's official TikTok account, where details of Triumphant Light were revealed. This expansion would complement Spacetime Struggle and would have Arceus EX as its main attraction.

New special pack: Features Arceus on the cover and contains four cards, instead of the usual five.
Leaked cards: Images of Magnemite, Golbat, and Eevee have been seen, along with a standout card of Arceus EX.
Benefits for players: It is mentioned that users will be able to claim two free Arceus packs each day, for a limited time.
Exclusive attacks: On Reddit, players have discovered that cards like Raichu and Tyranitar could unlock special attacks if Arceus EX is in the deck.

With more than 500 million dollars in revenue, Pokémon TCG Pocket continues to consolidate itself in the mobile market. The possible arrival of Triumphant Light could bring new mechanics and enhance the gaming experience, so an official announcement is expected at the Pokémon Presents.
