The Argentine Federal Police (PFA) carried out a series of raids at residences in La Plata and Ensenada as part of an investigation into alleged links with the terrorist group ISIS.
The operation began following a report issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States, which warned about the online behavior of a 17-year-old Argentine teenager, who allegedly attempted to contact individuals associated with the Islamic State through encrypted channels.

The intelligence report was channeled by the National Directorate of Criminal Intelligence and led to an investigation headed by the Federal Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 1. In coordination with the Anti-Terrorism Investigation Department, authorities managed to identify the young individual involved, who allegedly participated in conversations via platforms such as Telegram and Discord, expressing interest in "lone wolf" type attacks.
