According to the document, the officers were in the area due to a person requiring assistance. A witness present reported seeing a woman running towards the avenue asking for help, while a man followed her. The police managed to stop both in an official vehicle.
At that moment, the woman identified herself as the man's girlfriend and claimed to have been beaten. She also stated that she had been held inside the residence against her will and had taken the opportunity to go out and seek help.
