León XIV could visit Argentina during the first week of November, as part of a South American tour that would also include Uruguay and Peru. Although there is still no official announcement from the Holy See, in recent weeks confidential arrangements have progressed to assess dates, venues, and conditions for a possible three-day visit.
The Vatican diplomacy usually does not confirm apostolic trips until all pastoral, institutional, protocol, and security aspects are completely finalized. Therefore, for now, the trip remains in the analysis stage, although the hypothesis of November appears to be the strongest alternative.

The tentative agenda would have a central focus in Buenos Aires, where an institutional meeting with President Javier Milei and the main national authorities is anticipated. The visit would come at a time of greater rapprochement between the Argentine Government and the Holy See, following various official contacts initiated by Milei's Government in recent months.
The main objective of the organization would be for León XIV to meet with as many faithful as possible during a necessarily brief stay. For this reason, the planning does not aim for an extensive tour across several provinces, but rather to concentrate the agenda on a few acts of strong pastoral and institutional impact.
