Municipality of Posadas has presented its 2026 Budget with a package of reforms that marks a strong shift toward efficiency and debureaucratization. The city is promoting a management model that reduces taxes, streamlines the political structure, and modernizes the collection of services.
The local Executive has consolidated a process of internal reorganization that eliminates expenses, simplifies procedures, and prioritizes the direct provision of services.

Elimination of 13 municipal fees
The new budget provides for the elimination of thirteen fees associated with administrative procedures. Procedures such as property and vehicle debt clearance certificates, retrieval of archived files, issuance of duplicates, and appeals of administrative acts will no longer have a cost.
In addition, an economic emergency regime is being introduced to accelerate processes and reduce waiting times, in line with the national policy of state simplification.
Unrestricted vehicle transfers: the fine system changes
Another key point is the elimination of restrictions that prevented the transfer of vehicles with outstanding violations. The municipal certificate will only report the fines, without blocking the transaction.
