The weekly livestock auction by the firm Consignaciones Córdoba, held every Monday at the Sociedad Rural de Jesús María, showed that the young steer narrowed the gap with the calf.
The 300 to 350-kilogram (661 to 772-pound) steer was paid at $3,380 per live kilo, 2.4% above the previous week.
Meanwhile, the 100 to 150-kilogram (220 to 331-pound) calf had a value of $4,000 per kilo, 2.5% below the last auction.
