After being booed during the 12th National Congress of the Labor Party (PT), held in Mexico City, Gerardo Fernández Noroña defended the unity of the official regime and criticized the "sectarianism" within the movement.
Due to that unfortunate event for his lamentable political career, on his social media, Noroña stated that he would distance himself from his former party.
"I want to make it clear that an essential enemy of our movement is sectarianism. We are one movement, Morena, PT, and Verde (PVEM) one movement, one struggle. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deeply mistaken," said the humiliated president of the Mexican Senate Chamber.

On his social media, the senator also clarified that despite what happened, he would continue to promote unity within the movement. Even though for years, he took advantage of the PT platform to hold public office only to end up betraying it.
It should be remembered that Noroña has been a member of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) since last February 18. From that moment, he thus ended his insipid trajectory with the PT and previously with the now-defunct Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD).
