The Hogar Program of ANSES remains in effect during May 2025 with payments aimed at families without access to the natural gas network.
This monthly subsidy aims to cover part of the cost of gas cylinders and is designed for low-income households that meet certain requirements.

Who can access the Hogar Program in May?
To receive the gas subsidy in May 2025, several conditions imposed by ANSES and the Energy Secretariat must be met.
Main requirements
- No member of the household should have a connection to the gas network or be a beneficiary of the Social Gas Tariff.
- The family group's income must not exceed 2 minimum wages or category C of the monotributo.
- If there is a person with a current CUD disability certificate, the limit increases to 3 minimum wages or category D.
- In Patagonian and cold areas, the limit is extended to 2.8 minimum wages, and to 4.2 minimum wages if there are people with disabilities.

How much is paid by the Hogar Program in May?
The amount of the subsidy is set by the Energy Secretariat and varies according to three key factors:
- Number of people living in the household.
- Geographical location of the residence.
- Season of the year (higher amounts in winter).
When is an additional payment made?
In addition to the base amount, the program includes extra sums if any of these conditions are met:
- During the winter months.
- If more than 5 people live in the residence.
- If residing in cold areas determined by Law 27.637.

Cold areas included in the additional
The areas covered by the bonus are:
- All Patagonian provinces: Tierra del Fuego, Santa Cruz, Chubut, Río Negro, Neuquén, and La Pampa.
- The Buenos Aires district of Patagones.
- La Puna.
- Specific localities in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, La Rioja, Mendoza, San Juan, Santa Fe, Salta, and Tucumán.
