With the arrival of spring, Mendoza once again comes alive with the spirit of the vine and wine. On November 1, Bodega Iaccarini, in San Rafael, will host a new edition of the Provincial Vine Flower Festival, an event that, by law, officially opens the calendar for the 2026 National Grape Harvest Festival, the country's most emblematic celebration.
An event that unites tradition, art, and production
The Vine Flower Festival marks the beginning of the production cycle: the moment when the flowers announce the clusters that will later give life to Mendoza's wines. On this day, producers, artists, workers, and authorities gather, consolidating a tradition that celebrates the union between culture, faith, and the work of the land.
The main show will be led by the prestigious duo Baglietto-Vitale, formed by Juan Carlos Baglietto and Lito Vitale, who will offer a musical journey that combines national rock, tango, folk, and urban song, ideal to accompany the emotion of this festival.
Institutional presence and provincial projection
The official presentation took place on October 21 in the Elina Alba Hall of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The event was attended by the Undersecretary of Culture, Diego Gareca; the president of the Mendoza Tourism Entity (Emetur), Gabriela Testa; and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of San Rafael, among other officials.
Testa emphasized that this festival, created 12 years ago, gives a true federal meaning to Vendimia: "The Vine Flower Festival allows San Rafael to also join as a location for our Main Festival," she highlighted.
