A fire in the mountains that has been active for at least five days is the main concern in Córdoba.
This is aforest fire in Guasapampa, in the Valle de Traslasierra, which has already devoured more than 1,500 hectares and still hasn't been fully contained by firefighters.
The weather, with high temperatures, strong winds, and very low humidity, is also causing concern.

What the government says about the fire in Guasapampa
According to the authorities, the fire is developing in a very hard-to-reach area.
Every day, firefighters are transported by helicopter to reach the affected areas.
Personnel from Volunteer Firefighters, ETAC, and Fire Management are working together at the site.
The aerial operation included four water-bombing planes belonging to the province and the National Fire Management System, as well as a national helicopter that is carrying out water drops and providing logistical support to the crews on the ground.
