Ram is preparing to manufacture its new midsize pickup truck in the country
The new Ram 1200 will be manufactured in Córdoba and will debut in Brazil with a renewed design and a turbo diesel engine
Ram is moving forward with the launch of its new mid-size pickup, which will be produced at the Stellantis plant in Córdoba and will first arrive on the Brazilian market.
The model, named Ram 1200 2026, was spotted in Brazil during testing. It promises to compete in the segment with a renewed design, robust mechanics, and a more sophisticated interior.

When is the new Ram 1200 arriving?
According to the Brazilian outlet Autos Segredos, the Ram 1200 will make its debut in Brazil in the last quarter of 2025. Its production will be centered in Argentina, alongside the Fiat Titano, with which it shares much of its platform.
The pickup was seen in Minas Gerais with heavy camouflage, confirming that testing is at an advanced stage. Its arrival will expand Ram's regional line-up after the Rampage.
Design inspired by the Titano
The new Ram 1200 will be based on the Fiat Titano 2026, but will incorporate design changes to reinforce the brand's DNA. An exclusive hood, Ram-style front grille, and LED headlights with dual projectors for high and low beams are expected.

The front bumper will feature vertical openings for the fog lights. On the side, it will retain doors and handles, but will add fender moldings. The rear will maintain the Titano's silhouette, although with a different internal light arrangement and a tailgate with a damper.
A more sophisticated interior
Inside, the Ram 1200 will offer higher-quality materials and a more modern design than the Fiat Titano and the Peugeot Landtrek. It will include two digital screens, padded trim, and rubberized plastics on the center panel.
The air vents will have a horizontal format, the console will be wider, and will include a wireless charger. The seats will have an exclusive design, intended to improve comfort on long trips.

Expected mechanics and performance
It is estimated that it will share the mechanics of the Titano: 2.2 turbo diesel engine with 200 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and will offer 4x2, 4x4 with low range, and automatic 4x4 with low range.
A key launch for Ram in the region
With the Ram 1200, the brand will seek to strongly position itself in the mid-size segment, competing with rivals such as Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, and Volkswagen Amarok. Its local production will give it an advantage in availability and price compared to imported models.
