The relationship between Benjamín Vicuña and China Suárez is going through one of its most delicate moments. Since the actress decided to move abroad with Mauro Icardi and take Magnolia and Amancio with her, family conflicts have begun to escalate and have even ended up in the judicial arena. Now, new statements from the former Casi Ángeles have reportedly caused significant discomfort for the Chilean actor.
According to reports on Intrusos (América TV), the actress allegedly declared before Turkish authorities that her children consider Mauro Icardi a “father figure” and even call him “dad”. The phrase quickly generated media repercussions, and the program's reporter decided to ask Vicuña directly about this topic as he was leaving the theater on Avenida Corrientes where he stars in the play Secreto en la montaña alongside Esteban Lamothe.
Far from appearing comfortable with the situation, the actor tried to avoid delving into the conflict. “I have already clarified this several times to the point of exhaustion that I am not interested in talking about that topic anymore. These are private matters that we are handling with the family,” he initially responded with evident seriousness.

However, the most tense moment came when the reporter specifically mentioned that China Suárez had claimed before the authorities that her children see Mauro Icardi as a father. At that point, the actor's expression changed completely. “Did she say that? Well... those are opinions,” he replied with discomfort and without hiding his surprise at the information.
