Through his social media, he stated that the connection between Zaira and Strom was not casual, but that it had two key protagonists: Pampita Ardohain and Martín Pepa, the model's partner and close friend of the Frenchman.
"Zaira and Robert met through Martín Pepa, Robert's friend, and Pampita. They were the matchmakers for the couple", Méndez wrote, making clear the role that both of them reportedly played at the beginning of the romance.
According to the version circulating in the polo and entertainment circles, Facundo Pieres's anger would not be related solely to the confirmation of his ex's new relationship, but to a much more personal factor. According to Méndez, the polo player still intended to get back together with Zaira, and that information was known by his closest circle.
"That was a betrayal for Facundo Pieres, because he wanted to get back together with the younger Nara sister and Pepa knew it. However, he introduced her to the Frenchman", the journalist stated.
