The red streaming platform, Netflix, has a long history of controversies related to the promotion of gender ideology and highly ideologized content. This time, the controversy erupted with the series promoted as children's content, "Dead End: Paranormal Park".
Far from standing out for its plot, artistic style, or comedic ambitions, it did so from the beginning due to its strong woke content. In its first episode, without any kind of preamble, the series introduces Barney Guttman, a transgender teenager who runs away from home.
During this episode, those who do not support his "transition" at such a young age are portrayed as retrograde and harmful, constructing a narrative aligned with the gender activism promoted by left-wing and LGBTQ+ sectors. For the scriptwriters, it is legitimate to demonize science and romanticize the bond he develops with strangers.
Other episodes continue along those lines without restrictions, inserting messages of "sexual diversity" and absolute acceptance of early sexualization. However, it was that episode about Barney that caused the greatest reaction, both among parents who pointed out indoctrination in a children's series and among sexual degenerates who praised Netflix for "giving visibility."
