The Darín family is living days of absolute emotion. After the birth of the first child of Chino Darín and Úrsula Corberó, it was Ricardo Darín who publicly confirmed the name chosen for the baby: Dante.
The actor, who became a grandfather for the first time, spoke to the press at the door of the clinic in Barcelona where the child was born and did not hide his happiness. "Very well, very well, fortunately very well. A boy. His name is Dante, yes, it is a name with a lot of significance, but it is beautiful, very beautiful", he expressed with pride.
When he was asked by the media about whom the newborn resembles, Darín was cautious: "He is still very tiny, but I suppose that, as happens in almost all cases, everyone will find family resemblances."
Although he keeps a very close relationship with his son, the protagonist of "El Eternauta" acknowledged that he did not give him any advice about fatherhood. "There is no possible advice. That is an experience that everyone has to live in their own flesh", he stated.
The actor traveled to Spain to accompany the couple at this special moment and assured that the entire clan is moved by Dante's arrival. "Yes, they are all very happy. We are all very happy", he repeated before leaving.

Ricardo Darín recalled the day his son told him that he would be a grandfather
In a previous interview with the newspaper El País of Uruguay, Ricardo Darín had already anticipated the emotion that the news caused in him. He even confessed that he would probably cry when he met his grandson.
As he recounted, he was one of the first to find out about the pregnancy. "As a matter of prudence, he decided not to make it widespread. He told me because he was in a complicated moment and he asked me not to say anything until it was confirmed, after three months", he related.
That confidence caused him a small family conflict. "My wife said to me: "How did you not tell me?". But he asked me please. What was I going to do?", he recalled, laughing.
In turn, he joked that when the child grows up he will ask him not to call him grandpa. "Now I understand Susana (Giménez), when she had forbidden her granddaughter to call her grandma, I am going to add something of that because they moved me from mature and Latin American heartthrob to old man", he said, laughing.
