Robertito Funes Ugarte generated surprise in the television world after publicly denouncing that an idea for a program he had presented some time ago ended up being developed by a production company with another driver at the helm.
The revelation occurred during a cell phone with the program Save Yourself Who Can (América TV), where the host said that a few years ago he had started conversations to carry out a television format that ultimately did not prosper at that time.
“About four years ago I spoke to Diego Guebel, when I was on Public TV, to do I Want to Get Married, and you? ”, said Funes Ugarte when recalling the origin of the project
.As he explained, at that time the format required the acquisition of rights linked to the original cycle. “At the time, Florencia Galán had to be asked for the rights,” he said.
The journalist explained that some time later he returned to promote the idea. According to him, last year he met with a director from the production company Kuarzo to resume the project
with a renewed focus.“I said, 'Why don't we do I want to get married? Let's do it with big, fun people, real people who are going to look for a partner, '” he recalled.
According to his account, the proposal had been well received in that initial conversation. “'Yes, I love it, 'he told me,” he added.
