Crossover rumors: Fortnite could add Overwatch content

A possible crossover between Fortnite and Overwatch has started to gain traction. The version arises from leaks that circulated on social media.

According to reports in posts by Hypex, one of the most recognized leak sources in the gaming world, the collaboration is under consideration. For now, they clarify, it is only a possibility.

What the leaks say about Fortnite and Overwatch

The information was shared by Hypex, citing details from SpushFNBR and Wensoing. From the beginning, they emphasized that it is a "possible" crossover and not confirmed.

The warning is clear: there is no official announcement from Epic Games or Blizzard. For this reason, they recommend treating the rumor with caution.

The detail that set off alarms: LEGO and Hanzo

According to SpushFNBR, on December 11, leaked assets linked to the LEGO Fortnite mode appeared. Among them, heads and pieces were detected that drew attention.

One of those pieces reportedly has similarities to Hanzo, one of the most iconic characters from Overwatch. For now, everything suggests that this model is intended only for the LEGO universe.

What Hypex said about the leaked model

From Hypex's account, they provided more context about the discovery. They stated that Hanzo's hair model had already appeared in an early version of a LEGO skin.

It was later removed and, notably, was reintroduced in a recent update. That move fueled speculation.

Two shooter giants that have never collaborated

Fortnite remains one of the strongest games of 2025. Overwatch 2, although it has lost some prominence, continues to be a reference in the genre.

Despite their weight in the industry, there has never been an official collaboration between the two franchises. For this reason, the rumor is generating so much buzz.
