Samsung launches the Galaxy S25 Edge: ultra-thin, powerful, and with enhanced AI

Samsung presented its new Galaxy S25 Edge, an ultrathin cell phone that combines premium design and maximum power in just 5.8 mm thickness.

The device comes with an optimized Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 200 MP camera, and advanced Galaxy AI features.

Ultrathin design without losing durability or style

At only 5.8 mm thick, the Galaxy S25 Edge is the thinnest smartphone in its series. However, it doesn't lose robustness or visual identity.

Its curved structure and titanium frame make it resistant to daily use. Additionally, the 6.7-inch screen incorporates the new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, a glass designed for thin and demanding devices.

A complete redesign to maintain performance

Achieving such a thin device wasn't easy. Samsung had to reconfigure almost all internal elements to sustain the device's power and autonomy.

The battery is 3900mAh with 25W fast charging. It has less capacity compared to other models, but it incorporates a wider vapor chamber that allows for intensive performance.

Elite processor and power for AI

The Snapdragon 8 Elite adapted for Galaxy is the same used by the most powerful models of the S25 series. It provides fast processing, ideal for applications with artificial intelligence.

With this, the device remains competitive in demanding tasks and guarantees a smooth and modern experience.

Pro-level cameras and AI editing tools

The main module includes a 200-megapixel camera, which improves brightness by up to 40% in low-light photos. The secondary, with 12 MP and autofocus, allows for sharp and precise macro captures.

Thanks to Galaxy AI, photos and videos can be edited with tools like Audio Eraser and Drawing Assistant. This allows for professional results without leaving the phone.

Enhanced Galaxy AI: Now Brief, Now Bar, and Gemini Live

The Galaxy S25 Edge incorporates multimodal AI functions that integrate into apps and daily tasks. Now Brief displays personalized content and Now Bar recommends useful actions according to the user's routine.

With the help of Gemini Live, new camera and screen sharing options are added, resulting from the collaboration between Samsung and Google.

One UI 7, more security, and available versions

The operating system is One UI 7, based on Android 15, and the device features Samsung Knox Vault to protect the most sensitive data.

It will be available in Silver Titanium, Blue, and Intense Black colors, with versions of 12 GB of RAM and internal storage of 256 or 512 GB.

What will be the price of the Galaxy S25 Edge?

The international base price of the Galaxy S25 Edge will be 1099 dollars. There is no official confirmation yet about its launch in Argentina, but it is expected to arrive in the coming months.
