Ciclón's players once again spoke out publicly about delays in payments and abandonment by the club's management

San Lorenzo is adding a new source of institutional conflict after a turbulent end of the year. This time, the men's futsal team of the club publicly reported the delay in the payment of salaries and the total lack of communication from the officials in charge of the area, a situation that, according to the players themselves, has been dragging on for four months.
Through a statement released on social media, the professional squad described a scenario of "uncertainty and vulnerability", because it doesn't have clear information about how or when the debt will be settled. Despite this, the players emphasized that they continue training, competing, and representing the club with professionalism, commitment, and respect for the jersey and its people, although they admitted that they feel "adrift and abandoned" today.

The complaint is neither isolated nor recent, since it is the second public statement issued by the squad in a short period of time. The first one had been released after avoiding relegation, in the middle of the Silver Cup, still under the previous administration of Marcelo Moretti. At that time, the players were already warning about the lack of payments and the precarious conditions in which they carried out their activity.
Paradoxically, that situation did not affect the sporting performance: San Lorenzo was crowned champion of the tournament without the players receiving their salaries. Today, that achievement contrasts with the harshness of the present. As the months have passed without solutions, several members of that championship squad have already left the team, while others are considering doing so in the short term.
At the end of the statement, the players explained that they do not wish to expose the conflict, but they maintain that members and supporters deserve to know the reality that the club's futsal team is going through. The objective, they stated, is to find a fair and responsible solution that will allow them to continue carrying out their activity within a framework of respect and professional dignity.
