SanCor moves forward with productive agreements to reactivate plants in Córdoba
The dairy cooperative signed agreements that will allow the facilities in La Carlota and Devoto to be put back into operation
SanCor has finalized new strategic agreements that will allow two of its industrial plants located in the province of Córdoba to be reactivated. The agreements were signed with the companies Quesos La Delfina and the dairy company Delpack. These aim to give new momentum to the facilities located in the towns of La Carlota and Devoto, which are currently inactive.
These alliances are part of the productive recovery plan that the cooperative has been implementing to restore its operational capacity. In the case of La Carlota, SanCor signed an agreement with Quesos La Delfina that will allow that plant to resume operations. The company reported that this plant, once reactivated, will be used to produce hard cheeses from the processing of fluid milk.
The reactivation will include the use of the existing industrial infrastructure, which is currently inactive, with prospects of generating employment and added value at the local level. The other plant to benefit will be the one in Devoto. There, SanCor reached an agreement with Delpack to restart the production of powdered milk and infant formulas.

According to the agreement, Delpack will be responsible for making the necessary investments for the plant to resume operations, while SanCor will provide the structure and support the process. Both parties stated that the common goal is to leverage the installed capacity, generate employment, and increase the supply of processed dairy products in Córdoba.
Commitment to industrial recovery in the provincial interior
These new agreements add to the actions that SanCor is promoting to reactivate plants that were closed due to prolonged financial and production problems. The company is committed to agreements with private firms that have investment and experience within the national dairy sector. The goal is to keep the industrial infrastructure it owns in various towns across the country operational and prevent its definitive deterioration.

The strategy also seeks to safeguard jobs and strengthen the dairy chain that operates in different areas of the provincial interior of Córdoba. The plants located in La Carlota and Devoto had been inactive for some time, generating social and economic concern. The production halt affected both workers and regional economies linked to the cooperative system.
As a result of these agreements, a concrete opportunity arises for both facilities to resume activity under a new associated production scheme. SanCor indicated that the reactivation process will be gradual and that current legal and sanitary frameworks will be respected. The aim is to guarantee quality and sustainability in the process, ensuring continuity throughout the entire production chain.
