The swift intervention of the doctors and ambulance allowed immediate attention to the driver, who suffered multiple injuries, especially to his shoulder. As a precaution, he was transferred to Sanatorio Juan XXIII, although those close to him confirmed that he was conscious and even managed to exit the vehicle on his own.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred due to brake failure: Álvarez hit the curb and the car began to roll over uncontrollably. Fortunately, he did not collide with any of his rivals on the track.

Race interrupted and Cosenza's victory
The rollover occurred on the seventh lap of a race scheduled for 20 minutes plus one lap, which forced the event to be paused for several minutes.
After the restart, victory went to Daniel Cosenza, who led from start to finish and beat Agustín Roberi, the championship leader, and Ramiro Lafuente, winner of Saturday's final and a major protagonist of the weekend as the support category returned to TC2000 in Río Negro.
