In 2024, he played on loan at Unión, where he appeared in 23 matches, scored one goal and provided one assist. Under the guidance of Kily González, he became an important piece for the team. At the end of the season, he returned to Boca at the beginning of this year.
With his departure already confirmed, Boca so far has only parted ways with one other player: Jorman Campuzano, who left permanently for Atlético Nacional after returning from his loan.

The 22-year-old midfielder will move to Tigre on loan for 18 months, with a purchase option at the end of the agreement. Before finalizing his departure, he will sign a contract renewal with the club.

Trained in Boca's youth divisions, Rivero made his first division debut in 2022, in a 1-0 victory against Vélez, where he came on for Oscar Romero a few minutes before the end.
