National Senator Carmen Álvarez Rivero announced on Monday her incorporation into the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) bloc, consolidating the current of Bullrich-aligned leaders who converge with President Javier Milei's political project.

"We're joining La Libertad Avanza, invited by Patricia Bullrich. We've been defending these ideas of freedom since we were very young in Córdoba. It's time to come together and add up," stated the Córdoba legislator on her X account, where she thanked leaders Gabriel Bornoroni and Gonzalo Roca for the welcome.

Álvarez Rivero, a businesswoman and leader with a long track record in the agribusiness sector, was elected by PRO, but for some time she had shown affinity with the positions and the direction of transformation promoted by the national government. Her incorporation into LLA strengthens libertarian representation in the Senate and expands the political support base for the reforms the executive plans to undertake in the new legislative stage.

The senator's move takes place in a context of deep reconfiguration of the opposition space, following the decision of seven national deputies linked to Patricia Bullrich to leave the PRO bloc and also join La Libertad Avanza. Among them are Damián Arabia, Sabrina Ajmechet, Laura Rodríguez Machado, Silvana Giudici, Patricia Vázquez, María Luisa González Estevarena, and Carlos Almenda.

Bullrich's inner circle interprets this move as a logical consequence of Milei's resounding electoral victory, which redefined the balance of power in Congress. "Society dictated who leads the way for change," said leaders close to the Security Minister, for whom the alliance between Bullrichism and liberalism is now a fact.

In Córdoba, a historic stronghold of the non-Peronist vote, Álvarez Rivero's gesture carries symbolic and strategic weight. The province consolidated itself in the last elections as one of the districts most aligned with the libertarian project, and the senator becomes a reference figure to coordinate the legislative work of the ruling party in the central region of the country.

Deputy Gabriel Bornoroni celebrated the incorporation with a message on X: "Welcome to La Libertad Avanza Córdoba. I'm sure you'll make a great contribution to the upcoming reforms," highlighting the crucial role of the new Congress in addressing structural reforms.

With this new step, Milei's movement expands its presence in the Senate and strengthens its position as the dominant political core of the new Argentine cycle, in which the ideas of freedom, order, and productivity definitively displace the old paradigm of privilege and state dependency.
