Shock at América TV: Sergio Lapegüe lost two key figures from his show
'Lape Social Club' suffered new losses and they're betting on a more journalistic profile for what's coming next
The show led by Sergio Lapegüe on América TV, Lape Club Social, has undergone significant changes in its team since its premiere in March. Just a few months after its debut, the program has already lost several key figures, and in recent hours, more departures have been confirmed, marking a shift in the show's direction.
New departures from the staff and an editorial change of course
Journalist Ángel de Brito was the one who revealed on his show that Lape Club Social had experienced two new dismissals. According to his report, both El Bicho Gómez and Mai Pistiner are no longer part of the show. Additionally, Mica Lapegüe's departure was considered, although her continued presence was defended by her own father, the show's host.

"They're going to look for a more journalistic profile", De Brito commented when delivering the news, confirming that the program's focus will change in the coming months. The new editorial direction would be aimed at strengthening informative content and reducing the magazine tone that prevailed at the start.
The emotional farewell of chef Jordi Klad
Another notable departure was that of Jordi Klad, the show's chef, who left her position at the end of April. Lapegüe himself announced the farewell live, emphasizing that the decision was made by the professional to prioritize her personal life and her culinary business.
"You made the decision to leave us for better things, which have to do with family," the host said in a warm farewell. Jordi, visibly moved, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and admitted that she had no previous television experience.

"I was very surprised by what I experienced. Everyone was kind both in front of and behind the camera. It was very hard for me to make this decision, but I have three children and a fourth, which is Mesón, my restaurant," she explained.
The chef also described the anxiety she felt before her last broadcast: "Last night I had trouble sleeping. I'm leaving happy, but leaving this is also difficult. Mesón is my home, I spend many hours there, it's a place that represents me."

Rumors of tension within the team
In recent days, there has been talk of possible internal issues within the staff. Jokingly, Mauro Szeta suggested that Jordi's departure might be related to conflicts with Leo Paradizo, but the chef denied it with laughter.
Mai Pistiner also played along and asked about the group's "work environment," which caused nervous laughter among those present. Quick-witted, Lapegüe changed the subject to avoid controversy: "No, no... because then we'll end up on every news site," he said.
With these changes, Lape Club Social is being restructured in an effort to consolidate its place in América's line-up. The modifications are aimed at renewing the content, while Lapegüe's presence remains the core of the format.
