In a diplomatic turn that continues to position the Argentine Republic at the forefront of global security, the government of Javier Milei has consolidated a total alignment with the administration of Donald Trump to confront the most dangerous threat of our time: transnational far-left terrorism.
This commitment was crystallized with the active participation of the highest ranks of national intelligence and diplomacy in the Ministerial Meeting on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism, a conclave of utmost relevance held in Washington D.C. and led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The Argentine delegation was led by the Undersecretary of the State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE), José Lago Rodríguez, who, along with authorities from powers such as Germany, Italy, and Latvia, coordinated critical strategies to dismantle extremist groups attempting to destabilize free nations.
In parallel, Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno reaffirmed the country's commitment before representatives from over 60 nations, emphasizing that the Argentina of Milei will no longer be a spectator but a protagonist in protecting citizens, officials, and critical infrastructure against ideological violence.
“Political terrorism knows no borders, and its fight cannot either”, stated the SIDE through its official channels, highlighting that this cooperation aims to strengthen international law enforcement mechanisms to counter violent networks operating in a coordinated manner on a global scale.
The summit, motivated by an alarming diagnosis from the State Department, revealed that the far-left has historically been the greatest engine of death in the West. Between 1970 and 1980, these actors were responsible for 93% of terrorist attacks and 58% of deaths linked to political violence.
Far from being a problem of the past, current data shows a bloody resurgence: since 2016, attacks have drastically increased in the United States and Europe.
