The return of the creative team and a renewed cast
Direction is once again in the hands of Christophe Gans, responsible for the 2006 film, which debuted at number one at the United States box office and surpassed 100 million dollars. In this new chapter, Gans also participates as a screenwriter alongside Sandra Vo-Anh and William Schneider.
The cast is led by Jeremy Irvine ("War Horse"), who plays James Sunderland, and Hannah Emily Anderson ("Jigsaw"), as Mary Crane. Production is handled by Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, and David M. Wulf.
One of the most celebrated pieces of news among fans is the return of Akira Yamaoka, the franchise's iconic composer, who will provide original music and also work as executive producer.
