Silvally and Rampardos's deck dominates in Pokémon TCG Pocket: how to build it
With the Dimensional Crisis expansion, Silvally stands out as one of the most powerful cards in the meta
The Crisis Dimensional expansion of the Pokémon TCG Pocket game not only introduced the Ultra Beasts, but also brought a deep change to the metagame. Among all the adjustments, one deck has established itself as one of the most devastating: Silvally + Rampardos, ranked as Tier A+, one of the highest in the competitive ranking.
This is an explosive combination that takes advantage of fast evolution, low energy cost, and an aggressive offense that can destabilize the opponent in the early turns. In this guide, we explain how to build it and why it has become the preferred deck for many competitive players.
Silvally – Rampardos Deck Components

The basic structure of the deck includes:
- 2x Type: Null
- 2x Silvally
- 2x Cranidos
- 2x Rampardos
- 1x Giovanni
- 1x Sabrina
- 1x Venus (Mars)
- 1x e-Nigma (Iono)
- 2x Skull Fossil
- 2x Rare Candy
- 2x Gladio (Gladion)
- 2x Professor's Research: Professor Oak
The strategy is clear: start with Type: Null and evolve it quickly thanks to Gladio or Professor Oak. Once Silvally enters play, its Bold Colleagues attack can deal 100 HP of damage per turn, as long as a Supporter card has been used that turn.
Powerful Attacks from the Start
The most attractive aspect of the deck is its early offensive capability. Silvally only needs two energies of any type to attack, which allows pressure to begin from the very first moves. Meanwhile, players can opt for the "Plan B": use Rare Candy to evolve Cranidos into Rampardos directly from Skull Fossil. With just one Fighting-type energy, Rampardos can inflict 130 HP of damage, making it an immediate threat.

"It's a fast, straightforward, and effective deck. If the opponent fails to stabilize in the first few turns, they lose control of the board," comment experts from specialized Pokémon TCG Pocket forums.
Why is it Tier A+?
What elevates it to Tier A+ is its balance between ease of use and effectiveness. It doesn't require complicated combinations or too much prior setup: its strength lies in the speed and forcefulness of its attacks. In addition, the use of support cards like Giovanni or Venus allows players to finish games quickly or prevent the opponent from bringing their Pokémon ex into play.
While there are variants with Charizard ex or Greninja, none have proven to be as versatile and efficient as this Silvally and Rampardos combination.
