The new Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion arrives on June 26 with more than 100 cards

Pokémon TCG Pocket, the collectible card game for mobile devices from the Pokémon franchise,  continues to expand its universe at a dizzying pace. Just weeks after the launch of Dimensional Crisis, the A3a expansion that introduced Ultra Beasts,  the arrival of a new set has now been confirmed: A3b, which will be available on June 26.

The information was revealed by Eclipse, a well-known Pokémon content leaker on the social network X (formerly Twitter), who stated that "the A3b set will include more than 100 new cards." This expansion has not been officially announced by The Pokémon Company, but the community already considers its imminent appearance a given because clues in the game's code (data mining) match this date.

What is known about the A3b set

For now,  details about the theme or mechanics of the new set are scarce. It has not been confirmed whether it will include new features, such as the Shiny Pokémon from the Brilliant Festival or the Ultra Beasts from the previous expansion. However, the proximity of its release has caused great anticipation among Pokémon TCG Pocket players.

"We're less than two weeks away from a new wave of cards, which reaffirms the game's commitment to frequent updates," comment specialized forums.

The A3b set represents a minor expansion within the game, but its release could anticipate a new main stage, A4, which, according to various sources, could be announced during July's Pokémon Presents. This marks a clear strategy by the company: keeping the public's attention through staggered releases.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has become one of the most active mobile experiences in recent times within the Pokémon universe. Through regular updates, the game keeps its community engaged with fresh content and hard-to-get collectibles.

Some users have already expressed on social media their anxiety about completing previous sets before new cards arrive: "I'm still missing some from Dimensional Crisis, and they're already announcing another expansion," wrote a fan on X.

Although there is no official information about what the A3b set will include, it is likely that a larger main expansion will be announced in July. According to Eclipse and other sources,  "A4 will be the main highlight of next month's Pokémon Presents."
