Amid the judicial scandal facing Alexis Mac Allister following his separation from Camila Mayan, his mother, Silvina Riela, broke her silence and made strong statements that did not go unnoticed. After the Argentine courts declared themselves incompetent to intervene in the financial lawsuit initiated by the influencer, Riela gave a radio interview in which she criticized her son's ex-partner's attitude and targeted the public exposure that, in her view, directly harmed the footballer's image.
The court ruling, which establishes that the case must be handled under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom, represents a setback for Mayan. In England, there is no legal provision for financial compensation for non-marital cohabitation, which complicates her claim of six million dollars after nearly three years of relationship with Mac Allister.
"This isn't something that brings us joy or that we celebrate. We simply think it's the most logical outcome. It seemed illogical to us that there would be a financial claim of that magnitude without marriage or children involved," said the athlete's mother in a conversation with journalist Juan Etchegoyen.
Silvina also addressed the media impact caused by the lawsuit, noting that it directly affected her son's reputation. "It was a way to discredit him in front of Argentine society. We found what they did to him quite degrading," she stated, visibly upset by the way the issue was handled on social media and in the press.

In the interview, Riela shared previously unknown details about the family relationship with Mayan, even recalling that she was the one who accompanied the young woman on her return to Argentina from Brighton after the breakup. According to her account, at that time Alexis accepted, in good faith, a financial request from his ex-partner, despite having no legal obligation. "He trusted that word. We didn't have that perception of her. There was a gesture of generosity on Alexis's part," she asserted.
Without avoiding controversy, she also commented on Mayan's career after the separation, suggesting that her public notoriety was boosted by her relationship with her son. "She found a place thanks to Alexis. She had job opportunities in the media for having been his partner. There should be compensation when a person returns without resources, but that wasn't the case," she declared.
