The singer of Los Charros was brutally attacked on stage

An unexpected and alarming incident occurred during a recital by  Los Charros in the town of General Rodríguez, which quickly went viral on social media, generating great concern among the fans of the musical group.  Omar Rossi, the lead singer of the cumbia band, experienced a distressing moment when, in the middle of the show, he received a surprising attack on stage.

The incident took place last weekend when Rossi was hugging Daniela Molina, who was also participating in the live performance. During the rendition of one of the group's most popular hits, "Amores como el nuestro", a presumed stranger suddenly appeared from the side of the stage and headed directly toward the vocalist. Without warning and without even uttering a word, he delivered a strong slap to the singer, leaving everyone present and the soloist himself completely surprised and stunned.

What seemed like a simple misunderstanding quickly turned into a scandal when the aggressor, while pointing an accusing finger at Omar, began to reproach him for something amidst the commotion. The footage of the moment was captured by a spectator and shared on TikTok, where it quickly reached over 1,600,000 views, sparking speculations and theories about the possible reasons behind the attack.

In the video, it can be seen that after the blow, Rossi was left shocked and visibly bewildered, unable to react to the aggression. The rest of the band continued playing as if nothing had happened, trying to maintain calm in front of the situation and especially in the presence of the audience. A young woman, who was apparently part of the group's security team and was a few meters away, quickly intervened to remove the aggressor, but the damage was already done and the attack on the singer had already been carried out.

Although an official statement about the band's incident has not yet been issued, social media quickly caused different hypotheses about what happened. Some users suggest that the aggressor may have acted out of jealousy, while others speculate that it was a representative of Los Charros with personal issues exclusively with the performer Rossi.
