Gabriel Musso, former socialist mayor of Cosquín, recalled his administration through a video that highlights the inauguration of a bridge as if it were a monumental achievement. The footage shows him in close-up, smiling as he tries to project efficiency and management over a public works project in the city. The video of that inauguration shows Musso accompanied by Juan Schiaretti, currently a candidate for deputy for Córdoba.
The recording shows the coordination between Musso and Schiaretti, a snapshot of unity that contrasts with the local political reality. The current mayor, Raúl Cardinali, also aligned with the provincial ruling party and Musso's direct rival, also participates in the campaign in parallel, revealing two command centers that coexist with tensions. The forced coexistence between both raises questions about the stability of the electoral strategy in Cosquín.
Despite the image of harmony with Schiaretti that the video tries to convey, the relationship between the local teams suggests possible conflicts. Musso is directly competing with Cardinali for the mayor's office in the future, while the provincial ruling party is pushing for coordination, which could provoke internal resistance. In the mayor's circle, they point out that this imposition by the Cordobesismo could spark tensions that are difficult to contain before the end of the campaign.
