The son of the 'Snow White' producer lashed out at left-handed actress Rachel Zegler.
Jonah Platt, son of the producer of the worst movie in history, shot at the actress for ruining the movie with her political delusions
Jonah Platt, son of film producer Marc Platt, has unleashed a fierce criticism against actress Rachel Zegler, who plays "Snow White" in Disney's latest movie, which has been a resounding failure.
The controversy arose after the publication of an article in Variety magazine detailing how Marc Platt traveled to New York to talk to Zegler about her social media posts, which had sparked controversy due to her political comments.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Jonah, 38, lashed out at Zegler, calling her "immature" and suggesting she had "narcissistic" tendencies.

This occurred after a follower commented on his post about his father's visit to New York, vaguely questioning the need for a film producer to reprimand a young actress for her political opinions.
Jonah defended his father, arguing that since he was the producer of a major Disney movie with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, he had the responsibility to address Zegler's behavior.
He stated that she had inserted her personal opinions into the promotion of a movie she had signed on to promote as part of her million-dollar contract.
Jonah also highlighted that Zegler's behavior had negatively affected the movie's box office, and that freedom of expression didn't mean one could say whatever they wanted without consequences, especially when it came to private employment.

In his opinion, Zegler had "hijacked" the movie's conversation to satisfy her own immature desires, risking the production's success and harming the workers and team involved in the project. He finally concluded that narcissism shouldn't be supported or encouraged.
The controversy over Zegler began in August 2024, when the actress, in addition to thanking her followers for the success of the Snow White trailer, made a post supporting Palestine and Hamas terrorists amid the war in Gaza.
She was also criticized for a series of posts in which she attacked President Donald Trump and his followers, calling for them to never have peace. These actions caused a wave of criticism, especially among conservative sectors, and led Disney executives to discuss the situation with her.

According to the Variety article, a Disney executive expressed concerns about Zegler's posts, which led Marc Platt to travel to New York to talk to her.
Zegler refused to delete her posts and the producer suggested she work with a social media expert to better manage her online presence. An informant commented that Zegler didn't fully understand the repercussions of her actions regarding the impact they would have on the movie and her career.
In addition to the controversies related to Zegler, the Snow White movie also faced harsh criticism for what was considered a "woke cleansing" effort to remove traditional cultural references.
Dwarf actors, like Peter Dinklage and Jason Acuña, criticized the decision not to cast actors with dwarfism to play the dwarfs in the movie. The revenues were significantly low compared to the budget, which has led Disney executives to evaluate what went wrong.
