The Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, outlined the main projects that the national government will send to Congress and made it clear that the key will be the political support of the governors to move forward with the reform agenda.
During his participation in ExpoEFI 2026, the official asked for direct support from the governor of Catamarca, Raúl Jalil, in a gesture that evidenced the need of the ruling party to build legislative majorities.
“I trust you're going to convince your colleagues to vote on the bill, aren't you?” , Sturzenegger launched in a relaxed tone, marking the political axis of the challenge facing the

The reform package includes central initiatives to deepen President Javier Milei's economic program, with a focus on reducing regulations, facilitating investment and improving competitiveness
.Among the most outstanding projects is the so-called “Hojarasca Law”, which aims to eliminate more than 70 regulations considered obsolete that today hinder economic activity.
A reform is also being prepared on the inviolability of private property, with changes in key laws such as expropriations, evictions, land law and fire regulations, seeking to provide greater legal security.
