A leftist teacher from the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP) openly called for attacking libertarian students during a meeting of the Student Center of the Faculty of Humanities.
The case generated a strong controversy on social media and provoked a deep rejection due to the level of violence from the "teacher" against the young students simply for thinking differently.
During her speech, Laura Gómez questioned the presence of students with different political views and stated that they should not be allowed to participate in such meetings. In that context, she asserted: “They should be ashamed to speak, they shouldn’t even set foot in this assembly”.
According to reports, during her speech, Gómez also labeled the libertarians as “fascists” and called for university students to beat them and prevent their entry into the public institution.
The Violent Teacher
The situation was not limited to the hate speech delivered during the assembly. According to information released about the incident, after the meeting, there were discussions, shouting, pushing, and physical assaults against other libertarian students by members of leftist groups.
The episode once again highlighted the attacks and aggressions within universities, particularly regarding the situations faced by students expressing views different from those of the predominant sectors in certain assemblies.

This recent case is not an isolated incident. There have been previous reports of physical and verbal assaults from leftist sectors against students who think differently.
Earlier this year, at the National University of La Plata, a similar incident occurred, with pushing, insults, and blows against young students in the hallways of the Faculty of Psychology when a libertarian group simply tried to set up an informational table and leftist sectors attacked them.
One of the most serious cases also occurred at the National University of Lanús, where a Kirchnerist teacher assaulted and attempted to steal a cell phone from students of a libertarian group during a student activity.
The episode recently exposed during the assembly of the Faculty of Humanities was thus marked by a hate speech and new aggressions from the left against peaceful students.
