Teenagers shot in Córdoba: they are in serious condition after being attacked in the Patricios neighborhood
They were injured at dawn while they were on the sidewalk. One of their fathers took them to the hospital on his own
Two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, were shot in front of their home in Córdoba capital. The violent attack occurred around 1 a.m. on Thursday. It happened on Ramón Oro Street at 2100, Patricios neighborhood, in the northern part of the city.
The boys were on the sidewalk when they were caught off guard by gunfire. One was hit in the left leg, with an entry and exit wound. The other was wounded in the abdominal area and his condition is critical.
The father of one of them rushed them to Elpidio Torres Hospital. Doctors reported that the projectile affected an artery, which worsened the situation. The other teenager has a bullet lodged between his chest and pelvis.

Critical condition and scarce details about the incident
Both young men remain hospitalized in critical condition. The situation has caused shock in the neighborhood community. So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The prosecutor's office is investigating the motives behind the attack and is working to identify those responsible. Security camera footage is being analyzed to reconstruct the sequence of events. The family environment has not provided details and has been hostile toward the police.
Judicial sources indicated that investigators are working discreetly. The secrecy is hindering the initial progress of the case. However, forensic examinations are already underway.

Exercise caution in Córdoba capital even at your own doorstep
This new episode of violence once again highlights the urgent need to toughen penalties for those who commit crimes. It is unacceptable that minors and families continue to be victims while the aggressors, often repeat offenders, move about the streets with impunity.
Society is demanding an end to the revolving door promoted by the Zaffaronist doctrine, which, with lenient sentences and extreme guarantees, leaves Córdoba residents exposed to crime without real consequences for those responsible.
