The shock over the situation that Lourdes Fernández, member of the pop group Bandana, is going through continues to generate repercussions both in the artistic sphere and within the band itself.
Hours after the singer publicly defended her ex-partner, Leandro García Gómez—who was detained and accused of gender-based violence and unlawful deprivation of liberty—one of her bandmates, Virginia Da Cunha, broke her silence and spoke about the difficult episode.
During her appearance on El Spoiler de la TV (República Z), the artist appeared visibly affected and reflected both on Lowrdez's case and on the broader issue of violence in relationships.

"I'm extremely moved," Virginia began, her voice breaking. "I was already aware that Lourdes had been in a toxic relationship for years, and I believe this affects all women, beyond her situation. All of us have been in toxic relationships, to a greater or lesser extent. Maybe without it reaching physical aggression, but still to that point where we lose confidence in our perception, in our will, and we shut down. Sometimes that's more terrible than a punch," she stated firmly.
The singer also revealed that both she and her bandmates Lissa Vera and Valeria Gastaldi were in contact at the moment they managed to assist Lourdes after the episode of violence that led to García Gómez's arrest. "It was really crazy that it was us who happened to be there to say enough," she remarked, highlighting the emotional burden this meant for the band's inner circle.
