The government banned Estudiantes' and All Boys' barras from entering stadiums.

Sanctions are imposed on two groups of 'fans' following the viral spread of videos containing threats, xenophobic insults, and incitement to violence

The Ministry of National Security ordered a ban on attending sporting events for members of the Estudiantes de La Plata and All Boys barras, after various videos with threats, incitement to violence, and discriminatory gestures went viral. The decision was made official through resolutions 881/2025 and 870/2025, published in the Official Gazette.

In the case of Estudiantes, the sanction applies to five members of "Los Legendarios," a dissident faction of the club from La Plata, who appeared in a recording released on July 8 with intimidating messages. In the video, attorney Pablo Conti announces that "they are going to peacefully retake the stands," while masked barras simulate firing weapons. According to Minister Patricia Bullrich, this constitutes clear incitement to violence, which is why a two-year ban was imposed.

The individuals involved are Mario Daniel Binci, Patricio Ezequiel Arizaga, Héctor Javier Casado, Gabriel Sebastián Talerico, and Guillermo Gabriel Juárez. The case is classified as "Public Intimidation" and is being processed in UFI No. 2 of La Plata. Additionally, Arizaga had already been investigated in 2023 for aggravated threats and recently released another video in which he threatens the leader of the official faction, Iván Tobar: "I have bullets for you. That's how I say it, straight."

As a result of this context of internal violence among Estudiantes supporters, the Directorate of Security at Sporting Events considered it necessary to impose administrative restrictions to prevent further incidents.

Meanwhile, the Ministry also banned six All Boys supporters who were involved in a reprehensible incident during a match against Atlanta on June 29. Near the Islas Malvinas stadium, a coffin was displayed with the flag of Israel and the phrase "Death to the Genocidal State of Israel," accompanied by xenophobic chants, flares, and pyrotechnics.

The sanctioned individuals are Mauro Ángel Langone, Esteban Damián García, Rodolfo Ángel Gómez, Alexis Fernando Boyadjian Rosales, Román Agustín Goyeneche, and Guido Merelas, identified through the analysis of images and videos. Federal justice is investigating the events for discrimination and public intimidation, while the club was sanctioned with two matches behind closed doors.

The national government expressed its condemnation of the events and, through the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, also applied provisional stadium exclusion measures for those involved. In the case of All Boys, the sanctions are for an indefinite period, in line with current legislation on the prevention of violence in football.
