The Minister of Health of the province of Buenos Aires, Nicolás Kreplak, sparked strong controversy again after publishing a statement on his X account, where he highlighted his participation in the so-called “6th Plurinational Meeting of Gordes”.
The publication focuses on issues related to the perspective on "bodies", "weight", and the supposed "biases" of the healthcare system.
The Kirchnerist official of Governor Axel Kicillof presented the meeting as an opportunity to discuss health-related issues and questioned certain conceptions within the healthcare system.

In this regard, he wrote: "We participated in the 6th Plurinational Meeting of Gordes, a space that brings to the agenda debates that also deeply challenge the healthcare system. Thanks to its organization and participants, for the activism and debate that forces us, especially those of us with management responsibilities, to listen, reflect, and review our own practices."
"We need to learn new ways to look at health. To think about bodies and their contexts, to discuss pathologization and medicalization, and to research to incorporate other variables that allow us to understand people's health without having weight as the only measure", he added.
And he concluded: "Building a fairer healthcare system also means daring to review our own perspectives, recognizing their biases, and transforming them".
