An unexpected concern invaded Alex Caniggia and Melody Luz, parents of little Venezia, this Thursday night. The daughter of the former couple was urgently hospitalized after suffering a decompensation that led to a pediatric consultation.
The news was revealed during the broadcast of LAM (América TV), where panelist Pepe Ochoa provided details about the girl's health, who is currently under medical observation in a private clinic.
"They performed various tests and diagnosed her with bronchospasm," Ochoa explained on the show hosted by Ángel de Brito. Although the diagnosis initially caused concern, the family's circle assured that the situation is under control and that the child remains out of danger.
"She is hospitalized and will be kept under observation as a precaution," detailed the panelist, while sending a message of encouragement to the parents who were very alarmed by the symptoms the little one presented.
According to reports, Venezia was under her father's care at the time of the episode. Hours before the news broke, Alex Caniggia had shared images on his social media with his daughter, showing them enjoying a quiet morning at home.
"Good morning, this is us," wrote the media personality, alongside a photo where both appeared watching cartoons, while he protected the child's identity by covering her face.
Meanwhile, Melody Luz did not directly refer to the hospitalization, but had anticipated through her Instagram stories that she would not be able to attend a class she was supposed to teach at La Estación, where she works as a dance teacher. "I must cancel due to a personal unforeseen event. A colleague from the staff will replace me," she informed, without giving further details.
This health issue with the little one comes just a month after Alex and Melody confirmed their definitive separation, and the dancer introduced her new partner, chef Santiago del Azar, whom she met, like her daughter's father, on the reality show El hotel de los famosos (eltrece).
