The robbery took place in a downtown apartment and the victim is the owner of a beverage distribution company

A millionaire robbery shocked a businessman from Corrientes who, upon returning to his apartment located at Teniente Ibáñez 700, found the door forced open and his safe completely empty.

The incident took place on the second floor of the building, where the criminals allegedly entered, taking advantage of the fact that the residence was unoccupied. It is estimated that the loot reached 7 million pesos (15,432 pounds).

The victim, owner of a well-known beverage distribution company in the capital of Corrientes, filed a report on Monday night after discovering the burglary.

They also stole documents and a watch

In addition to the money, the thieves took personal documents and a watch. Inside the residence, the police found clear signs of damage and tampering.

Officers from the Corrientes Police launched an investigation to clarify the incident and identify those responsible for the robbery. So far, no arrests have been made and no solid leads about the perpetrators have been reported.

The case has caused concern among local residents, given the nature of the robbery and the amount stolen.
