The Criminal, Misdemeanor, and Offenses Court No. 15 of the City of Buenos Aires imposed a sentence of one year and five months of effective imprisonment on Fernando David Yurquina, a member of the All Boys barra brava, for his involvement in the damage and subsequent overturning of a City Police patrol car during the disturbances in front of the National Congress.
The sentence was handed down this Thursday following a settlement agreement, in which the defendant admitted his involvement in the events and accepted the penalty agreed upon with the prosecution. "I saw a crowd of people there struggling with the patrol car. So, when I approached, the reality is that I joined in, I'm not going to lie," he confessed to the court.
Judge Karina Andrade, head of the court, considered that his participation as a co-author of the aggravated damage offense was duly proven. She also decided to reclassify the act: it was not simply damage to public property, but an act committed with the intention of obstructing the normal exercise of authority and as retaliation against its decisions, in accordance with article 184, paragraph 1, of the Penal Code.

The events occurred during the disturbances recorded on March 12, when Fernando David Yurquina was identified as one of the individuals who kicked and helped overturn a City Police patrol car, located at the corner of Avenida de Mayo and Salta.
"When we reached the goal of overturning it, I withdrew and stayed there seventy to eighty meters away," declared the barra brava, while clarifying that he was not part of the group that later set the vehicle on fire. He also described: "one in a green jersey, with a scarf on his face, started putting trash inside the car and they started setting it on fire."
