Morena Rial is facing one of the most difficult moments of her life. In recent hours, the daughter of renowned television host Jorge Rial was transferred to a regular prison after repeatedly failing to comply with court orders.
The news was confirmed live by journalist Carlos Salerno during an episode of the program Desayuno Americano (América), and shortly afterward it was echoed by the influencer's inner circle.
According to Salerno, officers from the Tigre Police took Morena to Penitentiary Unit No. 51 in Magdalena, a women's prison located in the prison complex of that Buenos Aires locality.

The information was also corroborated by her lawyer and close friend, Alejandro Cipolla, who used his social media to officially announce the news: "I hereby inform you that @moreerial was transferred to the Magdalena women's prison. I'll continue to report on developments!" wrote the attorney in an Instagram story, which was quickly shared by Morena herself.
What is the prison where Morena Rial is being held like?
Penitentiary Unit No. 51 for Women has been in operation since December 2005. Originally conceived as a subunit dependent on Unit 28, it became independent in April 2006 and currently has the capacity to house 226 inmates. The prison is divided into several sectors and types of accommodation, according to the penitentiary regime applied to each detainee.
On the ground floor are the semi-open wards, where inmates have access to gardens, workshops, and common areas. The closed regime sector also operates there, which includes stricter security areas, admission cells, a kitchen, and a multipurpose room (SUM).

On the first floor is the common ward, with 13 cells that house up to 9 inmates each, as well as areas designated for inmates with good behavior and students. Each ward has its own showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities.
Beyond the confinement regime, the unit has a program of work and educational activities to promote social reintegration. Inmates can participate in cooking, cleaning, gardening, sewing, crafts, and gardening workshops.
They also have access to formal education, as primary and secondary level classes are taught within the prison. In addition, physical activities and training courses such as childcare and home economics are promoted.
