La Tora Villar introduced her new boyfriend live: who is the singer who won her heart

Lucila "La Tora" Villarmade her relationship with singer Maximiliano Appap,  leader of the cumbia band 18 Kilates, official during a live interview on the show A la Barbarossa (Telefe).

The former Gran Hermano  was in  Hollywood Beach, United States,covering the Club World Cup for Telefe's streaming, when she decided to take the step: she introduced her partner on camera and had a fun back-and-forth with Georgina Barbarossa.

"I came with someone. I'm going to introduce him to Aunt Geo," Lucila announced, as Appap approached the camera. The host, laughing, commented as soon as she saw him:  "He's very handsome."

A story of love at first sight and mate under the Miami sun

The couple shared that they met during a streaming show she hosted, where the spark was immediate. "That same day... love at first sight," La Tora confirmed.

According to panelist Pepe Ochoa, weeks earlier, Appap had been invited to one of Villar's Sunday streams.  After that meeting, he messaged her privately, she replied with interest, and within a few days they were already appearing together.

The singer also shared his feelings from Miami: "We're having some mate with 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius) heat, enjoying the Club World Cup and spending time together."

With words full of affection, he expressed: "Her simplicity, her personality... she surprises me every day. I value the little things and I try to be there for her whenever I can."

From the romance with BM to the scandal with Sofi Martínez

Lucila Villar had already had public relationships with Nacho Castañares and BM, but with Appap she seems to have found a new beginning.

Although the couple is in Miami for professional reasons, in recent days controversy has arisen over their presence covering the World Cup.

According to Yanina Latorre, Sofi Martínez was the figure chosen by Telefe to cover the event. The sports journalist, who recently left ESPN, was hired by the channel and would also participate in the streaming of La Voz Argentina.

However, the appearance of the platform DAZN—a British app—changed the plans. By offering her a proposal in euros, Martínez accepted but became less available for Telefe,  which caused internal discontent.

"People at the channel are very offended. They paid her very well, they bet big on her, and she told them 'I'm not going to be that available',"  Latorre stated.

In that context,  Telefe decided to send La Tora to cover the event and create alternative content. The former housemate took advantage of the opportunity to make her love story public, which she no longer hides.
