Trump expects a bombing in Iran and has ordered the withdrawal of diplomats from the Middle East.

The President of the United States stated that it is very likely that an attack will be carried out against Iran's nuclear facilities

Amid a concerning rise in tensions in the Middle East, the United States government has ordered the departure of non-essential personneland family members from its embassies in several countries in the region, citing increasing security risks.

This decision comes in the context of a stalemate in nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran, in a regional environment marked by the prolonged conflict between Israel and Hamas.

The U.S. State Department announced on Wednesday the partial evacuation of its embassy in Baghdad, a diplomatic mission that already operates with limited staff due to ongoing threats in Iraq.

The measure aims to protect U.S. citizens in the event of a possible deterioration of the situation in the region. In addition to Iraq, voluntary departure of personnel and family members from the embassies in Bahrain and Kuwait has been authorized.

U.S. Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, extended this measure to dependents of U.S. military personnel stationed at various bases in the region, according to the United States Central Command, which is closely monitoring the evolution of the geopolitical scenario.

Simultaneously, the United Kingdomissued a maritime warning to vessels transiting the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, and the strategic Strait of Hormuz, areas bordering Iran, warning that an increase in tensions could affect international maritime traffic.

Iraqi authorities have downplayed the evacuation, stating that they have not recorded indicators justifying a security alarm. Nevertheless, they acknowledge that this is a broader decision by the United States related to the regional situation, not solely to Iraq.

In Washington, President Donald Trump, who has taken an active role in U.S. foreign policy following his return to the presidency, stated that U.S. personnel are being "withdrawn because it could become a dangerous place."

Trump also expressed his growing skepticism about the possibility of reaching a nuclear agreement with Iran, accusing Tehran of intentionally delaying the negotiations. In statements to the "Pod Force One" podcast of the New York Post, Trump said he is "less and less confident" in achieving a deal.

The sixth round of nuclear talks between the United States and Iran, which was scheduled to take place in Oman next weekend, appears to be at risk of cancellation, according to diplomatic sources.

The negotiations aim to limit Iran's nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of harsh economic sanctions imposed by Washington.Iran, meanwhile, insists that its nuclear program is exclusively for peaceful purposes.

The rhetoric between both parties has intensified. The Iranian mission to the UN warned on social media that "threats of overwhelming force will not change the facts" and accused the United States of fostering regional instability with its military presence.

This was followed by statements from Iranian Defense Minister, General Aziz Nasirzadeh, who warned that Tehran will respond forcefully to any air attack: "All U.S. military sites in the region are within reach of our forces and will be attacked without hesitation."

Finally, despite the hardening of the U.S. stance, the Trump administration has reaffirmed its commitment to a diplomatic resolution of the nuclear conflict.

In a message, Trump asserted that Iran "could be a great country, but it must first completely renounce obtaining a nuclear weapon." It was also reported that the United States has informed Israel that it will not participate in a possible attack against Iran, seeking to avoid a direct military escalation. Additionally, a message from President Trump made clear the instruction to his administration to negotiate a deal with Iran.

The region remains in a state of high tension, with the latent risk that a miscalculation or provocation could lead to a large-scale confrontation.
