An operation by DDI Lomas de Zamora resulted in the arrest of two members of Banfield's barrabrava, belonging to the faction known as "La Berutti," as part of an extortion case.

The investigation, led by UFI No. 8 of Lomas de Zamora and headed by prosecutor Jorge Grieco, began after a street vendor who worked at the pedestrian entrance to Banfield station filed a complaint, stating that he had been threatened by members of the barrabrava, who demanded a "weekly fee" to allow him to keep his spot.

The case started on July 28, when the victim reported that several men had come to his stall on different occasions, identifying themselves as members of Banfield's barrabrava. Based on his testimony, prosecutor Grieco ordered DDI to carry out surveillance tasks, analysis of security cameras, and surveys of residences.

Sources close to the investigation indicated that both detainees are believed to be active members of "La Berutti," one of the most powerful and conflictive factions of Taladro's supporters.

With the evidence gathered, the prosecutor's office requested searches and arrests, which were carried out in the jurisdiction of Lomas de Zamora. During the procedures, three cell phones, labels and vinyls with brands such as Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, and the crest with the inscription "CS," as well as notes and a compressed air pistol with a silencer, were seized.
