The dispute between Vélez and Boca Juniors over the round of 16 of the Copa Argentina has added a new chapter. Nelson Pugliese, vice president of Vélez, publicly expressed his rejection of the resolution during an interview with the program Vélez a Fondo.
“It’s a shameful ruling, it makes me angry and indignant. If I have to go to ordinary Justice and file a precautionary measure to stop the Copa Argentina, I would do it personally. We ask that the regulations be followed,” he stated.
