A serious episode of school violence occurred at an institution in the Alto Alberdi neighborhood of Córdoba Capital on Friday afternoon. Students from 3rd and 4th year were involved in a fight that escalated to the use of a bladed weapon within the school premises. The incident ended with one student injured and the intervention of teachers and administrators.
According to reports, during the confrontation, one of the youths suffered a dislocated shoulder and had to receive immediate medical attention. He was transported by an emergency service to Eva Perón Hospital, where he received medical assistance and remained under observation. The situation left the educational community in shock.
The administrators who tried to stop the fight witnessed a knife being passed among the students in a "hand-to-hand" exchange. The weapon was eventually seized and handed over to the police upon their arrival at the school. The security force began proceedings to determine how it entered the premises.
