The Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA) woke up this Wednesday, May 27 under a scenario marked by fog, humidity, and low temperatures. The National Meteorological Service (SMN) maintains a violet alert due to persistent fog banks affecting visibility in the City and the Buenos Aires suburbs.
According to the updated forecast from the SMN, the cold will remain throughout much of the week, although no rain is expected. Highs will remain moderate, and only towards the weekend is a slight thermal improvement anticipated.

The day began with fog and low cloud cover in various sectors of the AMBA, especially during the early hours of the morning. The minimum temperature started around 9 °C, while the expected maximum will barely reach 16 °C.
The wind will blow from the southeast and east, reinforcing the humid and cool atmosphere that has dominated since the beginning of the week. Additionally, the SMN does not foresee precipitation for this Wednesday.
During the afternoon, there may be some moments of improvement with partially cloudy skies, although cloud cover will continue to predominate for much of the day.
