Viviana Canosa made a surprising statement in Comodoro Py this Tuesday morning. Accompanied by her lawyer, Juan Manuel Dragani, she appeared before prosecutor Carlos Stornelli, even though her appearance was not scheduled for that day.

The journalist explained that she made the decision to testify at 3 a.m., after having received pressure during the night. "I didn't sleep. I received pressure last night and that's why I had to come today," she confessed to the media.

Judicial scandal: Canosa reported threats and serious crimes

Canosa's lawyer stated that the case they initiated against Lizy Tagliani, remains under seal and confirmed the existence of threats received by his client. He also assured that he presented key evidence to the Justice. Although it was revealed that it might not be under seal, the prosecutor recommended that she stop speaking to the media.

Facts, names, and possible links to human trafficking

Dragani explained that the statement included names, concrete facts, and locations, although he avoided giving details to the press: "I can't reveal more information because we would be contaminating the case," he stated.

He also pointed out that the intimidating messages received by Canosa were handed over to the Justice as evidence. "Viviana became aware of a crime and had to report it. It could be linked to a human trafficking case," the lawyer declared.

According to the lawyer, so far no representative from the Telefe channel has contacted them. Meanwhile, the draw for the prosecutor's office that will be in charge of the case is awaited.
