The upcoming television war between Wanda and la China
The conflict was once again exposed this Wednesday on Intrusos, the show that airs on América TV. There, Adrián Pallares spoke about an imminent ratings war.
While Wanda is going through the final stretch of MasterChef Celebrity on Telefe, la China Suárez is getting ready to premiere her new fiction on El Trece. The series will arrive next Monday at 9:15 p.m.
Wanda Nara's request to Telefe
According to what Daniel Ambrosino reported, Wanda would have made a specific request to the channel's executives. The idea would be to move MasterChef to an earlier time slot to compete directly with la China.
"I want you to change the time slot so I can compete head-to-head" would have been the request. A phrase attributed to the businesswoman even sparked controversy: "I want to crush her".
Pallares analyzed that the move is possible, since Pasapalabra works as a wildcard within the schedule. In that way, the culinary reality show could start earlier and strengthen its leadership.

The weight of ratings in this fight
Currently, MasterChef Celebrity is the only broadcast TV show that surpasses double digits. On Telefe it averages between 10 and 12 rating points every night. In contrast, the nighttime fiction shows on El Trece have been posting much lower numbers: some do not surpass 4 rating points, which fuels the direct competition strategy.
La China Suárez's provocation on social media
Amid the promotional rollout for her series, la China Suárez also added some spice. She shared an image with Pedro Fontaine sticking out their tongues at the camera.
Many interpreted the photo as an indirect mockery. The gesture coincided with the start of the ratings battle and rekindled old wounds.
